Completing deployment at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland

The consortium of the companies Datacom System and Microsoft completed the realisation of the project for the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, within the framework of which a system making available information about protected objects of intellectual and industrial ownership was designed and deployed.

The system realised many various tasks; however, above all they are: gathering, searching and making available information about protected objects of intellectual and industrial ownership; gathering, searching and making available information about foreign patent documents, Within the scope of the project, the following tasks were also carried out: developing procedures of migrating data about protected objects of industrial ownership and about chosen foreign patent documents; deploying the IT system enabling content-management of Internet pages of the Patent Office; deploying a modern e-mail system; developing security mechanisms of the operation of the tele-IT system.
