Contract with the Ministry of Finances
The Joint-stock Company Datacom System concluded a contract with the Ministry of Finances for the total amount of almost one million PLN. It is yet another project for public administration performed by Datacom, which lies in the delivery of equipment to 105 various locations in Poland – to regional Revenue Offices and Offices of Treasury Control.The subject of the contract is the delivery, mounting and installation of equipment for backing up data in the server infrastructure of the Ministry of Finances and its branches, as well as services concerning the modification of existing scripts for backing up data. The delivery of equipment embraced 230 streamer sets type DAT 160, to which carriers in the form of 20 cassettes for saving data were connected.
The contract also determines the scope of a 3-year warranty service for the equipment delivered by Datacom. For ensuring the safety of data integrity in the back-up system, all faults will be removed within 24 hours from its reporting – 7 days a week.
