• speed, efficiency and reliability of the system is the merit of applying the server on the basis of Microsoft SQL. An open SQL database is a possibility of better scaling of solutions depending on Client needs,
• “documents on request” – is a solution, which enables receiving required documents without engaging certain persons from the organisation,
• possibility of facilitating new type of documents – doctype SMS will allow the system to treat SMS identically to fax,
• making available the use of sending faxes using VoIP connections. The function VoIP allows to connect all conversations and data transmissions in one wave of information being sent using Internet connections, which causes better facilitation of connections while optimising costs.

RightFax not only enables users to send and receive faxes from their work location via own software FaxUtil, but also allows for sending and receiving faxes via email and team work systems, such as Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange or any SMTP. Centrally incoming faxes can be sent to email boxes of adequate groups of employees, which allows to avoid multiple copying of incoming documents, their manual delivery and risk of their loss. Receiving faxes can also be configured in such a way, that they will be automatically transferred to a specific addressee or working group. There is also a possibility of sending, receiving and facilitating the archive of faxes via the Internet browser. Applying Web Access allows sending and receiving fax messages from any place and any operational system. The module facilitating this functionality is generally delivered within the framework of RightFax Enterprise servers and Satellite Server, and optionally to RightFax Business Server.

RightFax can cooperate with any systems of the following type (the manufacturer supplies the whole range of ready, tested and certified programme modules):

• ERP , e.g. SAP (MySAP, SAP/R3 and other versions), Baan, Oracle, and others,
• Systems for document management, e.g. FileNET, SharePoint Portal Server and others,
• Workflow systems – e.g. Open Text Process Center, Metastorm and others.

Additionally, it is possible to integrate the RightFax system with any applications (also written on order), with the help of programme interfaces API (COM). RightFax system is the most common and largest (in terms of number of implementations) platform of a fax server in the world (27% share in the market in relation to the next – 8%).

The fax system Open Text Fax Server – RightFax has a module build and can be based the following base solutions depending on needs:

Server RightFax Small Business Server
Ideal solution for independent companies. Contains license for 2 fax channels, 25 users, and for primary email functions. May be expanded by additional RightFax modules, and by 2 fax channels and 2 more licenses for 25 users each. Server Small Business is available in a suite with a connector to MS Exchange or LotusNotes.

Server RightFax Business Server
Solution for medium-sized companies, offices or working groups in one location. The application operates on a stand-alone architecture, successfully cooperates with email LotusNotes servers. Licensed for one output channel with the possibility of expanding up to 30. Does not possess license limitations to the number of users. May be expanded by additional modules.

Server RightFax Enterprise Server
Solution for national and international companies. Contains all features of the Business server. On standard, the system is licensed for 1 fax channel with a possibility of expanding by more channels, unlimited to the number of users. RightFax Enterprise Server facilitates clusters, Client’s WWW, documents on request, monitoring module, intelligent tool Least-Cost Routing, significantly reducing the cost of using faxes outgoing by a choice of the optimal way of delivery (Internet). Enables communication with other RightFax servers in the Enterprise version and so-called Remote Board Servers. It may be expanded by additional modules such as connectors to MS Exchange e-mail, Lotus Notes, PDF Convertor, connector to SAP system, FileNet, connectors to MFP machines from the following manufacturers: Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta, Sharp.

RightFax Enterprise Suite Server
Contains all functions of the Enterprise Server and is additionally equipped with a set of gates and connectors to MS Exchange and Lotus Notes. Possesses a module for documents in PDF, OCR and other formats. Licensed for one fax channel with the possibility of expanding up to 1,024 channels. Does not possess license limitations to the number of users.
